October 24, 1924 - March 16, 2010 Funeral services for Mrs. Eula Ashworth Furr will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale - Downtown location with Reverend Kenneth Crumbley officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Flat Cemetery, Plainview Community under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Furr, 85, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, formerly of Oakdale, entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Brook Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie, Sr. and Ellie Johnson Ashworth; two brothers, Audis Ash-worth, Huey Ashworth, one sister, Zula Harrington. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include four daughters, Shirley Furr, Thelma Swan, Ellie Mohon and Betty Williams, all of Brookhaven, Mississippi; five brothers, Ernest Ashworth and his wife, Jean of Oakdale, Jesse "Sonny" Ashworth and his wife, Jane of Deweyville, Texas, Clement Ashworth and his wife, Delta Faye of Centralia Washington, Leon Ashworth and his wife, Joyce of Angleton, Texas and Adolf Ashworth and his wife, Nell of El Dorado, Arkansas; three sisters, Joyce Gable of Orange, Texas, Nancy Odom of Oakdale, Bertha Gonzales and her husband, Joe of Elizabeth; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
