Death
Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at McDonald Funeral Home for Grace Furr, 95, of Picayune who died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at NorthShore Regional Medical Center in Slidell, La. The Rev. R.T. Buckley officiated at the service, assisted by the Rev. Ken Walters. Burial was in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Lumberton, she was a homemaker and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Picayune. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Furr and Bettye Mabie, both of Picayune; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at McDonald Funeral Home.Picayune Item, Picayune, Mississippi, 1/29/2004
