Death
PICAYUNE — Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at New Palestine Baptist Church for James Woodward Furr, 74, of Picayune, who died Saturday at Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Thomas DeLaughter will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Furr was a ship yard supervisor. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Treacie J. Furr of Picayune; a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Deangelis of Wayland, Mass.; two brothers, Clifton Furr and Earnest Furr, both of Picayune; and three grandchildren.
