Death

Etta Furr "Tincie" Westbrook – an 82 year-old native of Catchings, Mississippi and a resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011. She was a longtime member of Moffett Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, W.B. "Bill" Westbrook, and granddaughter, Julie Christi Godfrey. She is survived by her children, Janice Godfrey (Larry), Pat Westbrook (Carol), and Doug Westbrook (Mary); sister, Earlene Clark (Cecil); brother, Dewey "Buck" Furr (Cora); grandchildren, Jacob K. Godfrey (Jordan), Brian P. Westbrook (Kara), Paul D. Westbrook (Stacy), Joshua S. Godfrey, Daniel B. Westbrook, and Megan K. Westbrook; great-grandchildren, Judson Godfrey, Juliana Godfrey, Seth Baygents, Sam Baygents, Sarah Westbrook, and Patrick Westbrook; dear friend, Fred Martin; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from Moffett Road Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Terry Cutrer officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Moffett Road Baptist Church Missions Fund, 5555 Moffett Rd., Mobile, AL 36618.
