Death
CONCORD - Evelyn Pauline Hartsell Furr, 81, of 696 Pitts School Road S.W., died Friday, June 27, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Roberta United Methodist Church, Concord, with the Rev. Debra Short and the Rev. Wendell Brittian officiating. The body will lie in state f, in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Floyd Hartsell and the late Ollie (Kee) Hartsell Kepley. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Roberta United Methodist Church, Concord. Mrs. Furr was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawton L. Furr, who died Feb. 4, 1980. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Furr and Dale Furr both of Concord; grandchildren, Dale Furr Jr., Brian Furr, Crystal Furr and Dillon Furr; great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryson and McKenna Furr. The family meeting place will be the home at 696 Pitts School Road S.W., Concord. Memorials may be made to Roberta UMC. 3925 Cochran Road, Concord, NC 28027.
