Death
CONCORD ~ Mrs. Blanche Cullins Furr, 80, of 144 Powder Street, S. W. died Sunday at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hartsell’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home and the family will receive friends there from 6 until 8 p.m. today. Mrs. Furr was a native of York County, S. C., the daughter of the late James M. Cullins and Mrs. Clara Yarborough Cullins. Her husband, W. P. Furr, preceded her in death. She was a member of Concord Tabernacle and was a retired textile employee. Surviving are one brother, John F. Cullins of Concord; one sister, Mrs. A. C. Carriker of Concord and a number of nieces and nephews.Endnotes
