Her death certificate states her father was John W. Furr. This must be a mistake since in the 1880 census she is listed as a daughter of Catherine L. Furr, nee Cruse who was married first to Paul Monroe Furr and second to John A. Monroe.
Also, Catherine's obituary lists Mrs. Tobe McDonald as one of her daughters.
