Death

Mrs. Fannie E. Pittman, 76 years old, widow of the late John E. Pittman, died at her home, 708 Cherry street at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Pittman who had been a resident of Pine Bluff for forty years is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Woods of Holly Springs, Miss.; and Mrs. A. A. Sanders, of Pine Bluff; and one son, J. R. Pittman of Shreveport. She is also survived by two grandsons and a granddaughter, a sister, Mrs. Nannie Shelby of Little Rock. Mrs. Pittman was as well known as any Pine Bluff woman of the earlier days. With her husband, who also was widely known and popular, she resided at the same place on Cherry street for nearly half a century. Funeral services will be held at ?? o'clock this afternoon from the residence conducted by the Rev. W. P. Whaley, pastor of the First Methodist church of which Mrs. Pittman was a devout member.
