Death

Linda Sue Griffin, 70, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Griffin was born July 17, 1943 to the late Clifford and the late Margie Furr. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her sister, Myra Muto. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Monday, September 30, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Mike Culler and Rev. Harry Bowers, will be held at Harmony Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Griffin of Charlotte; two sons Ted Griffin of the home and John Griffin of Simpsonville, SC; four grandsons, Bryan, Keith, Tyler and David Griffin; one granddaughter, Kayeloni Griffin; four great grandsons, Keith Griffin, Jr., Lincoln Griffin, Noah Griffin and Jordan Griffin; a brother, Pete Furr; and a sister, Cathy Furr.
