Death

ROCKWELL -- Donald Swindell Love, 59, Rockwell, died Wednesday (Jan. 7, 2004) at his home. Born June 13, 1944, in Cabarrus County, Mr. Love was a son of Grady S. and Novella Furr Love, Concord. He was educated in the Cabarrus County schools. A retired sawmill and pulp wood worker, he was a member of Vision Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include wife Linda Poole Love, whom he married May 11, 1963; son Donnie Love Jr., Faith; brothers Larry and Jerry Love, both of Concord; sister Ann Richards, Kannapolis; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services: Memorial, 2 p.m. Sunday, Vision Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Harry Ferguson, pastor, and the Rev. Gary Chapman. The body will be cremated. Visitation: None.
