Jerry Lee Hoffner MOUNT ULLA - Jerry Lee Hoffner, 63, of Mount Ulla, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at his residence. Born May 10, 1942, in Iredell County, Mr. Hoffner was a son of Mrs. Betty Shook Furr of Conover and the late Ivey Lee Hoffner. A graduate of West Rowan High School, he was co-owner/operator with his twin brother, Terry, of Hoffner Brothers Dairy. Mr. Hoffner was a member of St. Luke 's Lutheran Church and North Carolina Dairy Producers Association. He was preceded in death by brother Robert Wayne Hoffner. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Williamson Hoffner, whom he married May 17, 1991; daughters Sarah Camille Gibson and Emily Hoffner Selves of Statesville, Laura Hoffner Wiles and husband Chris of Salisbury and Carolyn Marie Hoffner of the home; twin brother Terry Shook Hoffner; sister Molly Thompson and husband James of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. Service : 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke 's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mary Louise Sitton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation : Visitation and viewing will be held from 1-6 p.m. Friday at the residence at 420 Ketchie Road, Mount Ulla. Memorials : St. Luke 's Lutheran Church, 11020 N.C. 801, Mount Ulla, NC 28125.
