Death

Daniel Ray Page, age 68, of Locust, N.C., died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, N.C. Born November 13, 1940 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Hardy Washington Page and the late Maude Idell (Moyle) Page. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife Zazel Elaine (Brattain) Page of the home; Daughter-Rita Gardner and husband, Alvin of Locust, N.C.; Daughter-Teresa Furr and husband, Jamie of Mt. Pleasant, N.C.; Daughter-Sheena Troutman and husband, Scott of Concord, N.C.; Daughter-Betty Lane of Concord, N.C.; Daughter-Tammy Layton and husband, Dennis of Concord, N.C.; Son-Tommy Page of Locust, N.C.; Son-Timmy Page and wife, Connie of Concord, N.C.; Son-Jamie Page and wife, Heather of Concord, N.C.; Son-Jimmy Page and wife, Cindy of Concord, N.C.; Son-Joey Page and wife, Heather of Concord, N.C.; Four Sisters; Twenty Nine grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Pentecostal Holiness. The family will meet at his home. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland, PO Box 100, Midland, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Funeral service will be at Providence Church of God at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2009 , Rev. Frank Williams & Rev. Jimmy Bartley officiating. Interment will be at Providence Church of God Cemetery in Locust, N.C. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
