Rosaland Elaine Efird, 78, of Oakboro, NC passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Elaine was born November 8, 1947 in Albemarle, NC to the late Guilford Lee Almond and the late Mildred Louise Furr Almond. Survivors include son, Jeffrey Efird of Rockwell, NC; son, Neil Efird of Mint Hill, NC; son, Daniel Efird of Concord, NC; and sister, Kathy Almond Crisco. In keeping with Elaine's wishes, no formal services will take place at this time. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Efird family.Endnotes
