Rock Hill - Nov 5 - Mrs. Mabel Catledge Gregory, 41 of Rock Hill, died in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon following an illness of three years. She was the wife of Ernest H. Gregory. She was born May 15, 1911, in Chesterfield County, the daughter of the late W.C. and Sarah Ann Gainey Catledge of Chesterfield County. Funeral services will be held Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church near Jefferson. Burial will be in the family plot in Bethel Church cemetery. Survivors in addition to her husband, are six daughters, one son, two sisters, included Mrs. Rosa Lee Smith of Charlotte, NC, three brothers and two grandsons.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North carolina, November 6, 1952
