Death

Ona Faye was the daughter of Sam Millard and Ida Mae (Ratcliff) Hinson. She married Clarence Lee Goree on June 24, 1944 in Jacksboro. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1988. Ona Faye married James Gordon Brown on December 28, 1991 in Graham. She retired as a secretary having worked for Mobly's Office Supply and as a self-employed Tax Preparer. Ona Faye was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors at time of death included her husband; James Gordon Brown of Graham, two sons; Kent Goree and wife Lucille of Graham, Terry Goree and wife Bonnie of Graham, one sister; Lorene Ainsworth of Bryson, two brothers; Leonard Hinson of Odessa and Frank Hinson of Olney. Six grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. Ona Faye was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00am at Faith Baptist Church with Kent Goree of Graham officiating. Services were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
