Mrs. Winnie Ruth Brown, age 81, of Austell, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Jay and Leona Aikens Helms. She was a homemaker and a member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church. Besides her parents, Jay and Leona Aikens Helms, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wesley Hubert Brown. Survived by her daughters, Linda Helmeci, Marcia Nix; sons, David Brown, Jimmy Brown, Robert Brown; sisters, Ruby Richardson, Mary Black; brother, Jay Helms; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, April 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Davis Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Long officiating and Rev. Talmadge Chandler co-officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.Endnotes
