Death
Joe W. Summerall of Valley Park, retired Delta farmer, died at 1:30 a.m. today in the Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital at Rolling Fork. He was 80. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Baptist Church in Delta City by the pastor, the Rev. Mr. Williams. Burial will be in Vickland Cemetery. National Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Adams of Clarksdale; Mrs. H.L. Woods and Mrs. R.L. Tisdale, both of Rolling Fork; three sons, G.W. Summerall and W.O. Summerall, both of Valley Park; and Julius Summerall of Vardaman. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Spencer of Greenville and Mrs. L.D. Walker of Memphis and 17 grandchildren.Endnotes
