Death

Doris Burnette Keziah, 80, of Pawleys Island, SC, and formally of Stanley, NC, peacefully passed away at her residence with her loving family surrounding her. Doris was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late Jesse and Laura Oliver Burnette. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Oliver and her brothers, Paul Burnette, James Burnette, Frankie Oliver and Don Burnette. She is survived by her devoted husband, William “Pete” Keziah of Pawleys Island, SC; sons, Randy Keziah and his wife, Rhonda of Pawleys Island, SC, Donnie Keziah and his wife, Tracy of Mount Holly, NC, and Timmy Keziah and his girlfriend, Niki Rhyne of Matthews, NC; her daughter, Judy Furr and her husband, Gary of Iron Station, NC; seven granddaughters; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; her sister, Glenda Clark; and her brother, Buddy Oliver. Doris enjoyed fishing, traveling and going out to eat. In addition to her love for her entire family, Doris had a special love for her dogs, Sox and Eli. No services have been planned.
