Heath Brunson Morgan, Jr., "HB", 72, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at home surrounded by family. HB was born September 29, 1951 in North Carolina to the late Heath Brunson Morgan, Sr. and the late Pauline Virginia Love Morgan. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Jack Hartsell Memorial Chapel, officiated by pastors, Brandon Bowers and Clint Lewey. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery at 1397 North Main Street, Oakboro. HB was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married the love of his life in the August of 85', Brenda, to whom he has been faithfully married for 38 years. He enjoyed collecting coins, vacationing with his family, hunting, fishing, going to the mountains and hanging out with Teddy, his pompoo. But HB's most cherished moments in life were all the memories he got to make with Brenda. While in good health, he attended Friendship Baptist Church. HB had a good heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. HB Loved the Lord with all his heart and although he will be sorely missed, we all know that he is safely in the arms of his Lord and Savior. Survivors include wife, Brenda Morgan; daughter, Donna (Jim) Huneycutt; son, Wade (Mandi) Summers; son, Tim (Sandy) Summers; daughter, Christie Day; son, Nicholas Morgan; grandchildren, Blake Howe, Stratton Summers, Brittney Speights, Emily Morgan, Ethan Morgan, Meredith Long, Mitchell Morgan, Kirsten Morgan, Alex Morgan; and 5 wonderful great-grandchildren.
