Death
Thomas W. Duncan, 78, of 38 Crosnan Ave., Swampscott, vice chairman of the Swampscott Housing Board, and a building contractor in Lynn for 40 years, died of a heart attack yesterday in Lawrence. He was a member of the Swampscott Planning Board and of the construction personnel of the State Housing Board. He also was a member of the Wayfarers Lodge of Masons and Lynn Kiwanis Club. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Pauline Cunningham Duncan; two daughters, Emily of Swampscott and Mrs. Dorothy Furr of Mississippi; and a sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Meldrum of Roslindale. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Richardson Funeral Home, 48 Lafayette Park, Lynn.Boston Herald, Boston, Massachusetts, April 7, 1960
