Death
Tommy Joe Crane, 79, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the OU Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born on March 26, 1945, in Hugo, Okla. to the late Harry Leo Crane and Ruth Inez Furr Crane.TommywasraisedinHugowhere he graduated from Hugo High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge in 1967. Tommy attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University for three years and worked several jobs before going to work for Clint Williams Co., retiring after 35 years. He married Rosa Lee Howard on July 26, 2008, in Ring- ling, Okla. Tommy was affiliated with the Baptist church, and he enjoyed reading, fishing, watching basketball, base ball and football. He was very proud of all his grandkids and all their accomplishments through school. He told his wife Rosie they have a beautiful family and how much he loves them. Tommy was preceded by his parents; son, Christopher Crane; grandson, LC/PKenethPickens and brother; Dorman. Tommy was survived by his wife, Rosie Crane of Madill, Okla.; children, Mark Crane of Tulsa, Okla., Kevin Crane of Colorado; stepchildren, Angie Marston and husband Ian of Madill, Okla., Billy Pickens of Madill, Okla., Ariel Brown and husband Steven of Marietta, Okla.; grandchildren, Sean, Jayden, Eric, Braelyn, Laila, Toni, Sandi, Keneth and Ethan; great grandchildren, Addie and Olivia; brothers, J. W. Crane of Houston, Texas, Phil Crane of Ardmore, Okla.; sister, Frankie Ausburn of New Braunfels, Texas. Visitation was Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family hours from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service were held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Randy Kendrix officiated the service. Interment was at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Okla. Service were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Casket Bearers were Matthew Saxon, Sean Marston, Jayden Duncan, Braelyn Pickens, Ethan Marston and Eric Pickens. Honorary Bearers were Terry Reed, Tom Briggs, Ian Marston, Steven Brown, Billy Pickens, Keneth Reed and Joe Ben Lester.Endnotes
