John R. Parks, 32, Wathena, Kansas, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1988, in St. Joseph, Mo. Born in New Castle, Wyoming, he moved to Chillicothe in 1966 and had lived in Wathena for the past two years. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1974. Mr. Parks was an antique tractor mechanic and a member of the Missouri Tractor Pullers Association. Surviving: his wife, Rhonda of the home; his father, Don, Chillicothe; and a paternal grandmother, Alma, Houston, Texas.Endnotes
