Death

John Bowman Furr, age 33 of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024. John is survived by his wife Lili and baby daughter Hana, his parents Melody and Robert, his sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Jared. John is a follower of Christ, and a loving and protective husband, father, brother, and son. His faith was of the upmost importance to him. He loved discussing and studying theology and apologetics and attending church and bible studies. He graduated from Georgia Tech as a Mechanical Engineer, and worked in technical sales, blending his technical side and lovable personality. John’s intellect and creativity was matched only by his wit and humor. John loved spending his time in the company of close friends and family with good food. John also enjoyed playing golf, spades, skateboarding, basketball, studying math and science, and would have certainly beat you at ping pong. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, Georgia. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
