Death

GASTON — Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Bobby” Rish, 59, of Gaston, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at the chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Roberts and Mr. Rish’s son, the Rev. Landon J. Rish, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Mr. Rish died Saturday, February 28, 2004. He was born in San Diego, a son of Thomas L. and Eugenia Becknell Rish. Mr. Rish was a proud grandparent of five grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his parents of Lexington, are two daughters, Michelle Rish of Lexington and Bonnie Massengale of West Columbia; two sons, Travis Rish of Eastover and Rev. Landon Rish of Columbia; two sisters, Patricia Oates of Rock Hill and Debra Patterson of West Columbia; one brother, Arthur F. Rish of Columbia; and five grandchildren, Tori, Seth, Christian, Rachel and Claire.
