Troy Raymond Howell Jr., 54, passed away Thursday December 28th 2023. He was a loving husband, devoted son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and stepdad. Troy was born on March 27, 1969, in Riverside California. He is preceded in death by his father Troy Raymond Howell Sr. and stepdaughter Melissa Furr Adams. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Howell of 25 wonderful years and their sweet dog Gracie; loving parents, mother Dori Connatser and dad Charlie Connatser, sissies Dori Fedder(Darren), Barbie Howell, stepson Wayne Furr(Tammy), niece Kaylin Loiselle(Allan), nephews Alex Holland (Tali), Brett Holland(Samantha), uncles Jimmy Settle, Lonnie Settle (Marlene) and a host of great friends and coworkers. Troy worked in the HVAC industry for over 20 years and was employed with A/C Designs of St. Augustine Florida Inc. He was a top salesman/comfort advisor for many years and loved helping his customers find the best solution to meet their needs. Troy was an avid bass fisherman and loved putting the beatdown on his brothers-in-law. He fished competitively in the Southern Waters Bass Club. Family was a priority in his life, and he enjoyed getting everyone together on any occasion. He was a grill master cooking on the various grills/ smoker his dad helped customize. He always looked forward to a good ole game of poker to close out the night. Troy knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He loved ministering to his customers, friends, and all his family members to make sure we would all see each other again in heaven. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4 2024 at 11 am in the Chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Lyle E. Shiferdek, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Mary's Georgia.Endnotes
