Death
Patricia J. Furr, 52, of Evansville, died of cancer at 5:30 a.m. yesterday at St. Mary's Medical Center. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 34 in Evansville. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria Jones of Tampa, Fla.; sons, Carl Wittman of Evanston, Ind., and Gregory Wittman of Evansville; her mother, Gladys M. Jones of Evansville; a sister, Marjorie K. Bartholomew of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Jerry Jones of Evansville; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, the Rev. Louie Cain officiating, with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Newtonville, Ind. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. by the Rebekah Lodge.Evansville Press, Evansville, Indiana, June 29, 1987
