Death
Gary Edward Clark, of Charlotte, NC passed away on November 22, 2023 with his family by his side. He was married to his loving wife, Linda, for 42 years and together they had two children, Ryan and Caitlin. Gary was born in Lancaster, PA on December 16, 1948 to the late George and Freda Clark, where he grew up. He attended Garden Spot High School in New Holland, PA where he graduated in 1967. Gary was also a proud Navy Veteran. Gary began working for Victor F. Weaver (Tyson Foods), where he worked there for over 25 years as a truck mechanic. He then worked for H.R. Ewell Inc., as a mechanic until his move to Charlotte, NC in 1998. He worked for Estes Express Lines also as a mechanic until March of 2020 when he retired due to health reasons. Gary is predeceased by his parents, George and Freda Clark; brother, Chester Clark and one brother-in-law, George Martin. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Linda Clark; children Ryan P. Clark and Caitlin E. Furr (Josh); 3 grandchildren, Kinsley Furr, Declan Furr, and Kylie Furr; one sister, Brenda Martin; one sister-in-law, Peg Clark; as well as other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 Am at Churchtown United Methodist Church, 2170 Main St. Narvon, PA 17555. The family requests those attending the service to please wear an ugly Christmas sweater or a festive sweater or shirt in Gary’s memory and his love for Christmas decorating. The family would like to thank VIA Health Partners for their wonderful care of Gary, especially his nurse Cheryl and Nursing Assistant, Alisha as well as his caregivers at Levine & Dickson Hospital House - Huntersville.
