Death

Carl Alfred Robinson, 93, was born in Canton, OK, on January 27, 1930. He passed away July 20, 2023. Carl grew up on the family farm with his parents, Robert and Mildred Robinson, older sister, Wynema, and twin sister, Carlene. Carl graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, OK, and majored in Accounting. He spent the majority of his career in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma City, where he worked at Youngblood Oil Company for over 55 years. His position included Accountant and Vice-President. He worked on the 18th floor of the historic First National Bank Building in downtown Oklahoma City. He married Melba Jo Furr of Seiling, OK, July 24, 1952. They were married nearly 71 years. Carl was pre-deceased by his parents, Robert and Mildred Robinson, his sisters Wynema Crow, Carlene Bates and grandson, Brett Ferguson. He is survived by daughters Cheryl Ferguson (David), Terri Pelley (Mike), Carla Terrell (Don), grandchildren Tyler Ferguson (Elizabeth), John Boswell (Lauryn), Kari Waltrip (Ryan), Kevin Terrell (Danielle), Kelsey Dodson (Tyler), Marcie Brown (Robert), Kim Gill (Nick), great-grandchildren Jaedyn, Jack, Layla, Aiden, Patrick, Avery, Grady, Aria, Henry, Levi, Owen, Bryson, Paige, brothers-in-law Tom Crow and Kenneth Bates, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 26 at Church of the Servant Chapel, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelley, OKC.
