ITZHUGH-Services for Maria McDonald, 71, Fitzhugh, are 10:00 Wednesday at Fitzhugh First Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was born June 14, 1936 in Old Mexico to Juan and Catalina Ramos. She died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at home. She has lived in Fitzhugh for 50 years were she has been a homemaker. She married James McDonald on July 19, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. Survivors include her husband, James McDonald; 3 daughters, Janie Workman, Ada; Lydia Glover, Quincy, California; Carrie Harris, Ada; 4 sons, Jerald (Mac) McDonald, Sulphur; Jimmy Eichelberger, Sayre; Jaime McDonald, Salt Lake City, Utah; Johnny McDonald, Ada; 25 grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Winona C. Williams, Fitzhugh; numerous great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and a host of other relatives. Bearers include Jody Browning, Dustin Brecheen, Steven McDonald, Johnny McDonald, Jerald McDonald, and Bryan Pogue.
