Death
Mrs. Dora McCall Died Yesterday In Mecklenburg. Death Occurred at Home in Hickory Grove Community. - Funeral Held This Afternoon. Mrs. Dora McCall, wife of June [Junius] McCall, of Hickory Grove, Mecklenburg county, died Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock from a stroke of paralysis. She was 54 years old. Mrs. McCall leaves her husband and the following children: Bradley, Roy, Margaret and Baxter McCall, and Mrs. Jude Furr, of Mecklenburg county, and four step-children, Mrs. Clint Douglas, of Newell; Mrs. William Elliott and Mrs. Hugh Pettis, of Paw Creek; and Mrs. Ab Blackwelder, of Cabarrus county, and her mother, Mrs. Margaret Miller, also of this county. The following brothers and sisters, all of Cabarrus county, survive: Rob Miller, Mrs. Lois Hartsell, Mrs. Minnie Clay, Mrs. Nora McCall and Dolph Miller. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the home and interment will take place in the cemetery at Robinson's church in Mecklenburg county.Endnotes
