Billie Jean Mullis Smith, 90, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Concord Place. Billie Jean was born March 29, 1933 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Raymond Lee Mullis and the late Lula Measimer Mullis. She was also preceded in death by sister, Ruby Mullis Poston. Services for the Smith family will be private. Survivors include husband of 73 years, Willie Joe Smith of the home; daughter, Debrah Smith (Ron) Furr of Murrells Inlet, SC and Pamela Smith Allen of Concord, NC; grandson, Elliot McDowell (Ashley) Troutman of Mint Hill, NC; and sister, Shirley Mullis Dorton of Concord, NC.
