Death

Helen Virginia Boger Wagoner, age 94 of New London, passed away on July 3, 2012 at Spring Arbor of Albemarle. Mrs. Wagoner was born in Rowan County on September 10, 1917, to the late William Martin Boger and the late Omer Pauline Cruse Boger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Will Frelon Wagoner on August 23, 1992; a son, Jeffrey B. Wagoner; four brothers, William Boger, Arnold Boger, Hoyle Boger and Gene Boger; her baby sister, Ruby Boger; and one grandson, Ken Furr. Mrs. Wagoner was a homemaker and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She had a special talent for needlepoint, cross stitch and quilt making. She loved her family, friends and her church family.
