Death
John J. Kesley, 85, died at his home in Irmo at 9 o'clock last night after having been ill two weeks. He was a lifelong resident of the community and was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran church in the Spring Hill community. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olivet at 11 a.m. Monday. The rites will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Kenneth Webb, assisted by the Rev. Legare Swygert. Interment will be in churchyard. Mr. Kesler is survived by four sons: John J. Kesley of White Rock, Walter Kesler of Albemarle, N. C., William Kesler of Salisbury, N. C.; and Frank Kesler of Irmo; five daughters, Mrs. J. H. Smith of Gray Court, Mrs. T. S. Months of Irmo, Mrs. Viola Fulmer of Spartanburg, Mrs. Wendell Slice of Chapin and Mrs. Claude Counts of Peak; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Derrick of Irmo and Mrs J. T.
