Death

CONWAY | Horace V. Osborne, 77, husband of Betty B. Osborne of 59 years, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 at his residence after a long illness. He was born July 4, 1928 in Stanley County, N.C., a son of the late Lonnie and Lizzie Furr Osborne of Locust, N.C. Survivors including his wife are; one son, Vernon Osborne and wife, Jeannie, of Conway; one daughter, Letty O. Barbee and husband, Ray, of Concord, N.C., six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Horace was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, beloved by his family and friends who will miss him deeply. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John Gambrell and the Rev. John Rea officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive on Friday, Nov. 25, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMillan-Small Funeral Home.
