Betty Katherine Rowell Henson Ms. Henson, 74, of Charlotte died at Huntersville Oaks on Saturday, May 14, 2005. Mrs. Henson was born June 3, 1930 in Whiteville, NC, son of the late Walter and Stella Harrelson Rowell. She was preceded in death by her husband William Henson and one granddaughter Lindsay Hemby. Survivors include her three daughters; Bonnie Womick and her husband Ronnie, Nina Hemby and her husband Scott; & Annette Furr and her husband Mickey. Five Grandchildren, Tonora Cunningham and her husband Jeff, Kyle & Joshua Creese, Morgan Womick, Matthew Hemby. Two Brothers, Walter Rowell Jr. & Paul Rowell. One sister, Virginia Nelson. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte, on Monday, May 16 at 2:00 PM with the Bishop Robert Gleaves officiating.
