VANCLEAVE — Mrs. Karen Hanson Furr, 43, died Saturday, March 1, 1997, in Vancleave. Mrs. Furr was a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a waitress with Texaco Truckstop in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Hanson Sr.; and her first husband, Isaac Joseph Patterson Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Laura Kay Patterson of Gautier and Rhonda Sue Patterson of Vancleave; three sons, Isaac Joseph Patterson Jr. of Dora, Ala., Jerry Lee Patterson and Curtis Will Patterson, both of Vancleave; four sisters, Sharon Wescovich, Gail Wilson, Eizabeth Wescovich and Robin Wedgeworth, all of Biloxi; seven brothers, David Hanson of Ocean Springs, Roger Hanson, Joey Hanson, William Hanson, Danny Hanson, Randy Hanson and Steven Hanson; her mother, Rosemary King Hanson, all of Biloxi; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 1: 40; p.m. today at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi.* A procession will follow leaving the funeral home at 1:40 p.m. to go to a 2 p.m. graveside service in Biloxi City Cemetery.
