NORWOOD Mr. Larry Robert “Butch” Harward, 54, died September 16, 2001. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood, NC. The Rev. Kenneth Lambert will officiate. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood, NC. Burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC. He was born in Stanly County, NC on November 8, 1946. He was a member of Gideons International and served as State Treasurer. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Mcintyre Harward. He was a production control manager employed by Norwood Yarn Sales, Troy Plant. He is survived by his wife, Lois Blalock Harward of the home; daughter & son-in-law, Tamara and Mike Furr of Norwood; daughter, Robin Harward of Norwood; father, Robert A.
