Death

"TOGETHER AGAIN" Aurora Luna Carrasco, age 87 of Schertz, passed away October 7, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose F. Carrasco; sisters, Amelia Guel and Maria Vasquez; brother, Armando Luna and sons-in-law, Chris Garcia and Bob Midlick. Survivors include her children, Olga Furr, Universal City, Joe Carrasco and wife Lupe, Schertz, Jesse Carrasco and wife Josie, Universal City, Art Carrasco and wife Rachel, Schertz, Beatrice Carrasco, Schertz, Mary Garcia, Schertz, Hortencia Midlick, Schertz, Gloria Molleda and husband Gilbert, Converse, Gilbert Carrasco, Universal City, Esther Geffree and husband John, Converse, Lillian Martinez and husband David, Schertz and George Carrasco, Schertz; 33 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to give special recognition to the following: Aurora's lifelong friend, Concha Hernandez and her family and Como Hijas Concentidas, Rosie Posey, Yolanda Guel, Dora Escalante and Patsy Bermea. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 P.M., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M., on Sunday, October 10, 2004 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 11, 2004 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Monsignor Roger Robbins as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Colonial Chapel Hill Cemetery in Converse. Arrangements with Schertz Funeral Home.
