Mr. Claude Wilson Braswell, age 64, of 1617 Pecan Avenue died Saturday, June 9, 1979, in Presbyterian Hospital. He was born November 26, 1914, in Monroe, N.C., son of the late Lonnie Wilson and Mary Asbury Little Braswell. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and a machine operator for Consolidated Engravers Corp. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, in the Church of Jesus Christ with Bishop R.L. Hancock and the pastor, Reverend Pete Hancock, officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Mary Yandle Braswell; three sons, Larry Braswell of Tillery, N.C., and Curtis Braswell and Barry Braswell, both of Charlotte; one daughter, Mrs. Vickie Furr of Charlotte; one stepson, Charles Mullis of Harrisburg, N.C.; two step- daughters, Mrs. Darlene Price of Indian Trail and Mrs. Pat Rutledge of Charlotte: six brothers, Lloyd Braswell of Unionville, N.C., and James Braswell, Barney Braswell, Preston Braswell, Keith Braswell and Jerry Braswell, all of Charlotte; five sisters, Mrs. Pat Jones of Russellville, Arkansas, and Mrs. Betty Bush, Mrs. Polly Austin, Mrs. Bea May and Mrs. Doris Brigman, all of Charlotte; and ten grandchildren, Melissa Furr, Kathy Furr, Stephanie Furr, Ted Furr, Jr., Shannon Braswell, and Eric Rutledge, all of Charlotte, Justin Price of Indian Trail, and Charles Mullis, Jr., Ashley Mullis and Melissa Mullis, all of Harrisburg, N.C.
