Death
James B. Henderson (88) passed away at Los Robles Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, after a lengthy respiratory illness. Jim freely volunteered his talents in his community in many different capacities and will be greatly missed. One of his contributions was serving on the Incorporation Committee for the formation of the City of Westlake Village and later serving as a City Council member. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; daughter, Jill; grandson, Gene Furr (wife Sherri); granddaughter, Heather House (husband Kelly); great-granddaughter, Savanna House; and great-grandsons, Colin, Mason and Declan Furr. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village. Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the American Lung Association, 250 Citrus Grove Lane, Oxnard, CA 93030.Ventura County Star, Ventura, California, May 25, 2003
