Death

Dolores Marie Boyles of Charlotte North Carolina passed away on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born on December 16, 1932 in Chattanooga Tennessee, daughter of the late James and Martha Wentz. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked in the food retail industry and due to her outgoing personality never met a stranger. She welcomed all into her home and you never left hungry or without having a cup of coffee or her sweet tea. She was an avid and competitive card player. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Billy Washington Boyles; son Billy Wayne Boyles; daughters Sherry Lynn Furr and Tina Marie Boyles and siblings Yvonne Brown, James (Buddy) Wentz, Heber Wentz and Kenneth Wentz. Marie is survived by her son Larry Boyles, wife Kac, grandchildren Misty Newhouse, Christy Newhouse Reitz, Steve Boyles, Robert Boyles and Amber Mills; great grandchildren Taylor, Devin, Summer, Gage, Cole, Harper, Sawyer, Benjamin, Jameson, Maverick and sister Pat Morris. A graveside service will be held on April 16th, 2022 at 11am at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte NC.
