Mr. Frank Davis and wife (nee Miss Maud Furr) returned last night from Little Rock, and have taker up their residence with the bride’s mother, Mrs. Bell, on South State street. Mr. Frank Davis, a clerk at the Blue store, on Main street, and Miss Maud Furr, a clerk for Rubenstein, on Main street, went to Little Rock on the early morning train Sunday and were married. A short while ago Davis was arrested by Rubenstein for using threatening language. Davis said before the police that Rubenstein was jealous of him because he was paying attentions to Rubeustein’s clerk, Miss Maud Furr. Whatever obstacles were placed in the way Davis seems to have overcome, as he and the young lady married as stated above.
