Death

CONCORD - Mrs. Lois Irene Roberts Troutman, 81, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the Hospice House of Cabarrus County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Edward Pigg and the Rev. Marvin Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Troutman was born on July 7, 1927, to the late Sanders McCall and Elsie Price Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Troutman; and three sons, Richard Plott, Charles Kenneth Sherrill and William Sanders Sherrill. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Sherrill Brady and husband, John, of Richfield and Rebecca Sherrill Shue and husband, Johnny, of Concord; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Troutman retired from Fuller Supply Company. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a member of TOPS 445. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to say a special thanks to Teri Braswell of CMC-NorthEast and the rest of the staff for the gracious and loving care they gave Mrs. Troutman.
