Judith Lynn Schmidgall, 79, of Armington, IL, passed away Friday afternoon December 4th 2015 at Heartland Healthcare in Normal. She was born in Bloomington on February 6th 1936 to Lewis and Lucille Thomas Gravett. She married Ted Schmidgall on February 16th 1957 in Normal. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Philip (Kimberlee) Schmidgall of Tremont, Mark (Kimberly) Schmidgall of Mackinaw, and one daughter, Elaine (Steve) Furr of McCordsville Indiana, fourteen grandchildren; Jared (Stacy) Schmidgall, Joel (Brianna) Johnson, Joshua (Carrie) Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Rebekah (Justin) Fritch, Hannah (Curt) Musselman, Marybeth (Derek) Neville, Abigail (Ryan) King, Rachel (Luke) Lowery, Elizabeth Schmidgall, Ellie Schmidgall, Luke (Nicole) Furr, Jordan Furr and Kasidy Furr, 9 great grandchildren and three sisters; Darlene (Glenn) Hiett, Corpus Christi Texas, Pat Ramazzini, Springfield Missouri, and Nancy Jackson, Cotton Plant Arkansas. Her parents and one brother, Eldon Gravett preceded her in death. Judy graduated from Bloomington High School in 1954 and worked at Union Indemnity Insurance and GE. She married Ted and worked as a farmer’s wife, mother and homemaker and was a member of Minier Assembly of God. She was loved dearly by her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Minier Assembly of God in Minier. The Reverend Ron Marsiglio will officiate. Burial will follow at Minier Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 pm Tuesday December 8, at the church and one half hour before the service on Wednesday. Haensel Funeral Home in Minier is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials can be made to Armington Rescue Squad or Minier Assembly Nursery Fund.Endnotes
