Death
Valerie Eudy Leslie, 52, of Norwood, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church in Norwood. Mrs. Leslie was born May 3, 1961, in Cabarrus County to the late Boyd and Faye Auten Eudy. She was a member of Freedeom Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Richard Luie Leslie of the home; son, Richard Furr Jr. and wife Mary of Norwood; daughter, Elizabeth Harrison and husband Mark of Norwood; stepson, Shannon Leslie and wife Erica; sisters, Brenda Blake and husband Bo of Kannapolis, Shelia Kinlley and husband Randy of Mount Pleasant, Tressia Isenhour and husband Jerry of Concord and Terrie "Cheeta" Furr and husband Eddie of Norwood; and 14 grandchildren.The Stanly News and Press, Stanly County, North Carolina, June 21, 1013
