Elizabeth Joleen Hinson, 43, of Concord, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. Elizabeth was born Jan. 24, 1977, in Concord, to Gordon Lee Hinson and Rebecca Goldston Sloop. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Roy and Rachel Hinson, and Marshall and Aileen Goldston. In addition to her parents she leaves behind her daughter, Courtney LeeAnn Hunsucker and husband, Billy, of Salisbury; son, Charles "C.J." Horace Furr Jr. of Concord; grandchildren, Zailen, Liam and Nova Hunsucker; brother, Rodney Lee Hinson; stepmother, Teresa Hinson; as well as her beloved cat, Shadow. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A memorial service to celebrate her life will immediately follow at 6 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, officiated by the Rev. Tim Newton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Ct.
