Death
Furr, Alfretta E. (nee Hess) went home to be with her Lord June 18, 2001. A former Fishtown resident, she lived at the Philadelphia Protestant Home for the past 11 years; beloved wife of the late Melvin L. Furr Sr., devoted mother of Alfie (David) Armbruster, Cynthia A. Kennedy and the late Melvin L. Jr., loving grandmother of Amy, Beth, Michelle, Scott and Todd, sister-in-law of Aneurin Williams, Oren Furr and Dorothy Ware; also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service Wednesday 1 P.M. Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home, 905 Second St. Pike (at Bustleton Pike), Richboro where friends may call after 12 Noon. Int. Rosedale Mem. Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Berachah Church Missionary Fund, 400 E.
