Death
Mrs. Ruth Hobson Furr, 67, of 5624 N. Colorado Ave., died Monday at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Hickory, Miss., and had lived in the Kansas City area 25 years. Mrs. Furr was a secretary for the Morton Salt Co. before she retired in 1976. She was a member of the Winnwood Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, Judson Furr of the home; two sons, Judson H. Furr Jr., Grandview, and Larry W. Furr, Raymore in Cass County; a daughter, Mrs. LaNeal Skinner, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Flara Irwin, Canton, and Mrs. Allene Henderson, Madison, Miss.; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. y at the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
