Death

Funeral services for Opal F. Harville, 95, of Muskogee, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Geraldo Alonzo II officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery with Cody Gilliam, Austin Gilliam, Greg Gilliam, Jerry Nutt, Ken Wood and Robin McDaniel serving as pallbearers. Born May 20, 1915 in Braggs, Opal was the daughter of Homer and Mandy (Coger) Harris. She married Joe Harville in October of 1971. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ode Furr; one daughter; son, Kenneth; second husband, Joe Harville; parents; brother, Lester Harris; and sister, Beulah Gilliam. Opal was an active member of the Dorcas Society of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She loved sewing, knitting, gardening and garage sales. She is survived by nephews, Charles Gilliam and wife, Linda, John Harris and wife, Fran, Tex Gilliam and wife, Sandra; one niece, Gladys Opal; and numerous friends.
