Death
HAMPTON - Irene "Duffy" McLean Furr, 64, of Hampton, died Friday, July 15, 1994. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.F. McLean. She was born in Wilson, N.C., and was a Hampton resident for over 56 years. Mrs. Furr was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Hampton and Toastmasters International. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Irene Renner and Mary Carolyn Craig, both of Hampton; one son, John David McLean Furr, of Hampton; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m Tuesday at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m Wednesday in the Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Aubrey J.
